Gig review for You Me At Six:

YOU ME AT SIX+
Canterbury, The Blackout and Set Your Goals.

WHEYBRIDGE BOYS SLAMM THE COUNTRY

From playing to the clubs and pubs of Wheybridge the lads of You Me At Six storm the distance of the country performing their second round of their album Hold Me Down  to thousands of adoring fans. The city of Manchester was about to whitness You Me At Six's best performance yet. Josh Franceschi the bands lead singer say's ' The boys and I were oblivious to the amount of suppourt our band has and was blown away by the fact we have solt out our tour dates within a matter of hours even resulting to adding extra dates, so thankyou!’

Things may be cold for those fans awaiting to get it but things were more than defantly were about to  heat up in the Apollo. The Apollo was filled with a young and energetic vibe which swept back stage to the bands awaiting there moment. Lead singer Sean Smith of The Blackout added ‘ the vibe and excitment which filled the room was nothing like ever before the crowd were so full of excitment and positivity it was more of a honour to play than a pleasure’.

The support acts Canterbury, Amercian band Set Your Goals and of course The Blackout stormed the stage with The Blackout delivering a epic performancer and set, they had the whole audience engaged with their music and Lead Singer Sean even got the crowd joining in a cover of Willow Smith’s ‘Whip My Hair’

After moments of jamming to Tibbet’s Dj set (Close friend of You Me At Six’s) the bands drummer Dan Flint emerges in shadow showing off his new Platinum blonde hair, almost with out a second to loose the beat kicks in a lead singer Josh bursts out the debute single ‘Save it for the Bedroom’ the adrenaline runs through the set untill the last song ‘Underdog’. The music and atmosphere was incrediable and the vibes which were circling the room was amazing

This tour has been the most incrediable one yet I feel so privledged to be apart of something as amazing. The fans have been amazing and we wouldn't be were we are without them. To sell out the whole tour and to have to result in adding extra dates is mind blowing!

Iv seen YMAS a few times, each time they just get better and better. This tour has been the best yet and im soooo excited for the new album in summer.

This is my first ever gig and i was uncertain what to expect but it was EPIC! cant wait till the next gig if this is anything to go by.
