Photographs to be used within my Magazine

The images below are a selection of the ones I have decided to use within my magazine. I have chose these images to appear in my magazine because I believe these are the ones most relevant to my chosen genre and ones in which fit best to my plans as seen on the post previoussly. They will also be used to engage the audience and capture their interest.

Front cover

I have chosen this image as my main image on my front cover because I think it has that sense of edginess and depth about it which I was looking for. I have scene throughout my research process on rock magazines this type of image is common to to use on front covers. Although the image itself admitably isn't of such a high standard in terms of quality, but I think the image could really work once slight editing has taken place been and the image fitting into my format and [plans.

DPS

I have chosen to feature this image on my DPS because it indicates the stereotypical audience in which reads this particular type of genre of magazine. I also believe it will connect to the audience more or increase attention if fans and readers where featured within the magazine itself putting their own stamp and comments on gigs and reviews of topics.

One of Free giant live posters

I decided to use this image of Sean Smith as a poster basically because it's quite a up close and personal image I successfully took and I think it would be a huge selling point for my magazine to incorporate within.

Once again I decided to use this image as a audience selling point of a poster because it's another realistic image of a live shot which i took. I think due to the images I have decided to use as posters being live images will increase hopefully the selling point of my magazine because the audience will feel more connected especially if they attended.
DPS
I decided to use live images within my DPS simply because i have written a gig review so it just seemed convenient to do so. I think by using live images will engage the audience more and draw their attention. Also the colours of the images due to the lights and cameras within the academy deliver a emotion of the energy adrenaline and happiness within the room which will reflect onto the DPS.

I like the way this image is of a wider shot which ables us as the audience to capture the atmosphere of the whole stage with a clear view of the band on stage.

Once again as the image of Sean Smith showed a close up this image does to. I like the medium close up shots as they enhance personality.
