Colour scheme: In terms of the colour scheme the editor of Rocksound has chosen darker colours as seen before on the front cover and once again in comparison to the Kerrang magazine this is different and presents a sense of seroiuness were as Kerrang used its colour scheme to highligh the high energy outgoing atmosphere in reflection to its readers. .
Photography: The photography on the contents is alot different to the photography used on the Kerrang magazines contents as the contents on Rocksound only displays one main images which sets in the whole contents page. I personally feel this doesnt highlight the content of the magazine leading the target audience maybe a little astray and under mystery to what will appear within the magazine.
Fonts: The font on the contents repeats from the front cover, by this i mean the use of capitals. The use of capitals maybe makes up for the lack of photography as this fonts are drawing in the attention of the audience. I also like the way the text almost looks as if it has been handwritten giving the contents a sense personalisasion and depth which connects with the audience.
Writing Style: The writting on the contents is as expected very blunt and only inicates the basic contents which is to be expected over the next few pages. In reflection to the photography i think due to the lack of both writting and images the contents isn't as welcoming and audience appealing as the Kerrang Magazine, adding a sense of dullness to the magazine.
Overall Look: The overall look of the contents is once again very simple .The way in which the contents is presented is intresting as it doesn't have much of a interesting and eye catching audience appeal. The layout is very much very full on and square which could add a sense of seriouness to the content of the magazine.
Text/picture ratio: The contents holds in ratio alot more text which may indicate a older target audience.
Publisher: Sonic Media are responsible for publishing Rocksound as equally responsible for publishing Mojo,Empire and Q along many other magazine's in various media categorys. There strategy is to connect with audiences with excellent content through their broad multi-touch point brand platforms, wherever and whenever and however thay want. They have a huge advantage over pure play magazine or radio competitors due to the wide portfolio or influential brands. So in terms of a certain target audience, there is none they range in terms of the magazine or radio show they are trying to sell
